Can we make it official that the art of coffee wizardry was created by the Keurig company? I already convinced myself of this when I used my very first Keurig brewer a few years ago. Our old coffee pot was dismembered and tossed in the garage within minutes of popping in the first K-Cup. Right now it’s still collecting dust as its competition sits comfortably on my kitchen counter, receiving endless amounts of love each day. Staying Refreshed This Summer With Brew Over Ice + GIVEAWAY! #LoveBrewOverIce

There are many things in this world that I can’t live without, iced coffee being high on that priority list. It may sound ridiculous but if you have children I am sure you understand without any further explanation! I was never a huge coffee drinker before I had my daughter but four years later, it feels like it’s automatically running through my veins. If I could shrink and attach my Keurig system to my key chain, I would in a heartbeat.  I can’t function without my iced coffee or tea in the morning. With Brew Over Ice I don’t have to! They were even kind enough to send me a few samples to try, and I couldn’t wait to get my brew on! Addicted is an understatement.

Brew Over Ice K-Cups are available in several varieties from coffee blends to fresh iced tea. The three samples I was provided with included a little taste from each category. While I was familiar with the Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee, I had never tried the Snapple Peach Iced Tea or Vitamin Burst Strawberry Pomegranate flavors. Truthfully, I wasn’t even aware that there were K-Cups available in anything BUT coffee! I was pleasantly surprised because I do love iced coffee but on those hot Summer days I tend to crave a cold lemonade or tea to fight the heat. The Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee cups are one of my absolute favorite. I discovered them at my local grocery store a few months back and have been enjoying them ever since. I don’t leave the house without my ice coffee in hand and this flavor satisfies my sweet tooth before the day even begins. It doesn’t even need whip cream! It’s creamy, sweet, and cold. Triple threat? I think so!


I was anxious to try the Vitamin Burst cup in Strawberry Pomegranate. I expected this to be more on the juice side given it is a “fruit brew” and completely opposite from what I am used to making with my Keurig. It’s naturally sweet and high in Vitamin C. All I needed was my Brew Over Ice Tumbler filled to the top with ice cubes. Popped the K-Cup in and then I let the magic begin. I could smell the aroma of the fruity mixture immediately! It was a nice change compared to the typical strong scent of coffee beans that lingers through the kitchen in the morning.

If your new to drinking any type of Brew Over Ice beverage, remember to always fill your cup to the very top with ice! It tends to melt really fast. I learned this the hard way when I was a Keurig “newbie.” A lot of spills, watered down creations, and potent concoctions came from the first few months of becoming a Keurig owner. Proud to say I am now a pro-brewer, or so I like to think!

I don’t want to seem TOO overly excited for this bzzkit but i really can’t help it … I AM! If you know me, then it’s no secret I am an iced coffee junkie. I love love love Iced Coffee, especially when it’s 95 degrees here in Florida. My Brew Over Ice Bzzkit arrived yesterday and Bzzagent did not disappoint. This kit came with the Brew Over Ice BzzGuide, 3 boxes of K-Cup sampler packs, a pretty blue and white tumbler, and coupons to share with friends. I have been a member of Bzzagent for years and this may be one of my favorite campaigns to date..

I wasn’t sure what to expect in this bzzkit but when i opened it i was thrilled. Not only did it come with the cute Brew Over Ice Tumbler but there were also the three boxes containing 4  K-Cups I have never had before.

Each of the three K-Cup boxes comes with four different varieties: 
  • Celestial Seasonings Half and Half Black Tea & Lemonade
  • Celestial Seasonings Southern Sweet
  • Green Mountain Coffee Hazelnut Iced Coffee

It was nice to see that there were different options to choose from and we are able to try four different flavors including tea & coffee!

I had a hard time choosing which K-Cup to try first but I ended up making the Southern Sweet Black Tea. Making the fresh brewed tea only took a few easy steps. I placed the K-Cup into my Keurig system and locked it in.


I prepared by Brew Over Ice Tumbler by filling it to the top with ice. I selected the 8oz. setting because I don’t like my tea to be too strong. If you have a Keurig then you know you also have the option to select 6 oz. for a stronger brew. Now, all I had to do was press the little black button and watch it drip! It doesn’t get any easier than that.. One of the many reasons i LOVE the wonderful Keurig system.


Within seconds my Southern Sweet Black Tea is ready. I thought it tasted perfect the way it was but you always have the option to add sweetener if it’s too bland.

The Southern Sweet Black Tea was refreshing and a cool go-to beverage for the hot Summer days. I didn’t know that Iced Tea K-Cups even existed. I am glad I was selected for this campaign otherwise I would still be drinking coffee and hot chocolate! These next few days I will be trying out the other three flavors and judging from the first one I tried, I have a feeling they are all going to be good.
