As a toddler, Toodie has outgrown the traditional infant body washes and shampoos. But at the same time, her skin has always been sensitive and some products are too harsh for regular use everyday. The Dial Kids Body & Hair Wash meant for children ages 2-5 is ideal for those who fall right into this category. It comes in a Peachy Clean scent and provides ultra gentle cleansing with a fun, fresh, and light scent. I like that the fragrance is not over powering but it is still noticeable after bath time is over. It doesn’t irritate the skin and it leaves it feeling soft and moisturized. This is exactly the type of product I prefer to use on my daughter‘s skin because I know that it is safe and formulated for her specific needs.


For children that are ages 6 and up, Dial Kids Body & Hair Wash offers a mild cleansing wash that will not dry out their delicate skin. This product is available in two scents, Watery Melon and Berry Cool. Both bottles come in bright vibrant colors and the scents take bath time to a whole new level of fun. Even though Toodie falls into the age range of the Peachy Clean wash, I am still comfortable allowing her to use these because they are a gentle formula. Watery Melon smelled sweet, fruity, and clean. It also lathered nicely on a loofa and wash cloth. Not to mention, it created a heap of fluffy bubbles in the bath tub.

It gets the job done but in a much more efficient manner. Once it is applied to the surface you can wipe it with a sponge, cloth, or paper towel. The grease and grime will glide off with no effort whatsoever. How could you not love this product?!

        Sleeping In Style At The Children’s PLACE! #BabySleepInStyle

        It’s that time of year again, the joyful season of Spring cleaning is upon us. I’m not crazy about most of it but when it comes to Toodie’s room I seize the opportunity to make more space. Unlike some, I actually enjoy weeding through and throwing out my daughter’s outgrown clothing and toys. While sifting through her sleep wear last week I picked out a drawer full of pants and shirts that no longer fit. With Toodie growing like a weed, I wasn’t left with very many pajamas. It was time to make a trip to the Children’s Place and stock up on comfy sets for her to sleep in.


        Even though Toodie has recently turned the big “4”, she LOVES LOVES LOVES her one piece footy pajamas. Tall and lean for her age, it can be difficult finding those that fit and are not too tight. I always have great luck when I shop at the Children’s Place for this specific style. Not only do they have the most precious patterns and a selection of sizes, they are also frequently on sale! I spotted them during my visit for only $9! With this great bargain staring me right in the face, it was hard to pass such a steal up. BUT I did. I decided to skip the onesie jammies this trip and move over to the big girl section. It was time to get Toodie into some stylish sleepwear more for her age. Luckily, the choices were just as cute and equally affordable.

        I noticed that within the Children’s Place sleepwear collection for toddlers, there were several sets with a little coordinated scrunchie attached. I found this to be such a cute addition to the pajamas! Toodie ALWAYS goes to bed with her hair in a pony tail to avoid tangles and a lion’s mane in the morning. Instead of having to search high and low for a hair tie, I have one right at my finger tips. As usual, Children’s Place makes bed time a breeze for moms like me!         “Get The Sillies Out” With Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Tour + GIVEAWAY For Florida Readers!


        As a mommy I spend more time watching kiddie shows and movies than I do enjoying my own age appropriate entertainment. Over the past four years I have somehow managed to see every single episode of YO GABBA GABBA and memorize each lyric to their catchy songs. I even have the soundtrack in my car for those long drives and jam out sessions with my munchkin. I actually enjoy the energetic tunes and am a huge fan of the series! As a matter of fact, YO GABBA GABBA was the first television show I ever introduced my daughter to. YO GABBA GABBA has a special way of teaching children the importance of morals, kindness, love, honesty, and friendship. You can catch it on Nick Jr. several times a day. Being in the fourth season it sure has made it’s mark!

        Monthly Crafts For Kids: Wummelbox Review

        Hello friends! It has been a while since I had an exciting find to share with you. This month I was given the opportunity to review a new monthly subscription service for children. Meet the Wummelbox! The Wummelbox comes filled with arts & crafts projects that inspire creativity, imagination, and exploration. Cool fact? It originated in Germany and is actually known there as “Wummelkiste.” It is geared towards children between the ages of 3 to 8. Each crafty project includes an illustrated booklet of directions along with just about all of the supplies required. There is also a “wummel” indicator on the front of each booklet that tells the difficulty of each craft and if parental assistance is needed. Between all three projects, Toodie was able to do at least one on her own while I was happy to help with the others. I noticed she was very intrigued by this box. While she always gets giddy when one of these packages arrive at our doorstep, she seemed extra curious about this one!
