As a mommy I spend more time watching kiddie shows and movies than I do enjoying my own age appropriate entertainment. Over the past four years I have somehow managed to see every single episode of YO GABBA GABBA and memorize each lyric to their catchy songs. I even have the soundtrack in my car for those long drives and jam out sessions with my munchkin. I actually enjoy the energetic tunes and am a huge fan of the series! As a matter of fact, YO GABBA GABBA was the first television show I ever introduced my daughter to. Where do you think I got her nickname from? “Toodie” came from watching endless episodes and a growing love for the adorable character “Toodee.” In addition to the fun loving cast, the positive messages and wholesome lessons appeal to our whole family. YO GABBA GABBA has a special way of teaching children the importance of morals, kindness, love, honesty, and friendship. You can catch it on Nick Jr. several times a day. Being in the fourth season it sure has made it’s mark!

It was full of laughter, giggles, dancing, and much more. I think we are all more than excited to go again this year. Does your child have a favorite TV show or movie character that you have a hard time finding items for? I know this has happened to me on more than one occasion. KimmyShop.com is my first stop shop for hard to find merchandise and low prices.

School is currently in session and even though it is the middle of the year, it’s never too late to get a new backpack for next year. Backpacks are a huge steal on their site and they even sell matching lunch boxes to go along with them. It pays to shop ahead of time! This was the backpack I was sent to review and it couldn’t have been a better choice..

 

Toodie was thrilled when she saw it was a Yo Gabba Gabba backpack. Last year we were lucky enough to see them live when they were performing in South Florida. As I opened the package she immediately recognized the characters- and her favorite, Toodee. Sense a similarity? Yo Gabba Gabba coincidentally was the show that inspired her nickname! With the bright colors and characters I feel this backpack would be great for girls and boys.

 

 

This backpack is durable, well made, and very spacious. Since Toodie is now in daycare I pack her extra clothing, bedding, and a blanket each week. It’s very important that I can fit all of these things in her backpack comfortably so they can pack it away in the small classroom space. I was able to get everything she needed inside without her falling over from it being so heavy. This backpack also has an extra pocket on the side and a huge zippered front pouch if needed. It was so cute seeing her walk into the classroom struttin’ her stuff with her new Yo Gabba Gabba backpack, and a huge smile!
