This week I took the time to browse the newest and existing gift sets Sephora has to offer during the holidays online and in store. I’ve been gravitating towards lip products lately and noticed that they have so many gift sets from brands that I love. Each year I pick up a few of their Sephora Favorite’s Fragrance Samplers because they make great gifts for any age or gender. Last Christmas I purchased one for my mom and my boyfriend because I always spend hours deciding what scent they would like best. With this gift set they were able to smell several samples and redeem for a full sized fragrance of their choice. Such an awesome concept when people are difficult to shop for!

October IPSY Glam Bag: The Art Of Beauty

The October IPSY Glam Bag found it’s way to my mailbox yet again this month. When I first got accepted into IPSY I was over the moon excited. For $10 a month I was going to get to try new brands in addition to the ones I love. But after the last bag I was on the fence about the subscription because I wasn’t too sure if I was really going to “use” most of the items I received. I am happy I stuck it out because I loved every single thing in my bag this time around. While I was happy with all of the fun products I got to try in September, the October Glam Bag was definitely more “me” overall. Last month I was slightly dissapointed I didn’t get the Butter London nail polish like other subscribers, but these goodies are making up for it. L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream Review #MagicBBCream

In the past year BB creams have quickly taken over the cosmetic world, giving beauty junkies a unique alternative to a flawless complexion. Originating in Asia, these beauty balms have made their mark and are now available in the United States. Many popular high end and drugstore brands have created their own formulas that are comparable to those sold overseas. Like many others, L’Oréal Paris has created the Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream. It is currently available in four shades- Fair, Light, Medium, and Deep. This can be found in the cosmetic section of most major drugstores. Since BB creams are supposed to act as an “all in one” product, I was intrigued to see the results. This on in particular primes the skin for smooth texture, perfects any imperfections, hydrates for all day moisture, and corrects skin for an everyday healthy complexion. Who wouldn’t want to skip a good three or four steps in their beauty routine for one product that does it all?

Starlooks: December Starbox Review

We’re wrapping up the end of the year and Starlooks has provided me one of their top notch boxes to review again. The anticipated December Starbox included a 15 shade eyeshadow pallete that is valued at $99! This was a nice surprise considering I only expect a few new makeup products to try each month. The 15 full size colors are exclusive to this pallette ONLY and are not available individually. While I was provided this box to facilitate this review, I feel that it is totally worth the $15 each month. Based on December alone, you cannot beat getting a complete eyeshadow pallete with a variety of colors for the price. The pans are good size and the eyeshadow is dense. If used correctly it will last you a long time and there are endless looks you can achieve with such fun colors.

Keep Your Hands Pampered During The Holidays With Julep

It’s officially a week into December and this time of year always tends to be a little stressful for me. By the time it gets here I am on the verge of pulling out my hair, throwing in the towel, and wrapping my presents with newspaper! Sound like a crazy person? Really, it’s not that as bad as it sounds. I love Christmas, but the days leading up to it are fast paced and hectic. The holidays can make anyone a little coo-coo. That is why it is important to not only worry about others this season but also ourselves. We are never too busy for a little pampering and honestly, we deserve it! Our hands are the two greatest tools that are used and sometimes abused during the holidays. After endless wrapping, baking, cleaning, cooking, packing, folding, scrubbing, and decorating- my hands are screaming for a little lovin’. Lucky for me, I was given the opportunity to try two “handy” products from Julep to bring them back to life.

Starlooks: November Starbox Review

Hello beauty fans. The November Starbox is here! After being impressed with last month AND the month before …. I was ready to get this baby open!  This month it is all about achieving a “Prime Look.” This is a look that every face can pull off and the products within each box will compliment individual skin tones. The November box is the first to be semi-customizable and Starlooks did their best to make sure that each subscriber would get products they could not only use, but love. I really didn’t know if the box I received was for a “light” skin tone but when I saw the products I was VERY happy.
