- frosting or decorating icing

- small holiday candies
- miniature candy canes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Place balls of cookie dough 2" apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes or until tops begin to brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- Shorten longer ends of mini candy canes so each side is even. Carefully nestle the ends into the tops of each cookie to resemble an ornament hook.
- Allow to cool an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Use frosting or icing to create designs.
- Decorate with sprinkles or small candies.
