The Book of Life is easily one of my favorite animated films of 2014 and all time. After seeing it last year in theater with my daughter I knew it had to be a part of our collection. This breathtaking animated comedy has a unique dazzling visual style unlike anything you’ve seen before. It’s colorful, vibrant, eye-catching, entertaining, and the music is incredible. The soundtrack hasn’t left my car since we purchased it shortly after the move premiered. I love it just as much as my kiddo does!
Torn between the expectations of his family and the desires of his heart, a young man named Manolo sets off on an epic quest that spans three spectacular worlds in order to reunite with his one true love and defend his village. Not your ordinary fairy tale, The Book of Life is a wondrous fantasy-adventure filled with magic, music and fun.
