This time of year a good cup of coffee is a must-have staple in my morning routine. With a new school year and my little girl starting Kindergarten I seem to need more energy than I ever did before. Waking up at 5ish every morning is no easy task. But dealing with the lack of sleep isn’t a problem as long as I have my brew to bring me back to life. The new Starbucks Fall Blend has been making the back to school transition much easier for me, especially when it comes to that 45 minute carpool lane I subject myself to!
I still can’t believe that I am even IN a carpool lane everyday. My little girl has started this new journey and is officially a Kindergartner. The first day was a little bumpy and the nervous jitters made an appearance but by the second she was beaming with confidence. She no longer needed my hand to hold as we walked through the big double doors. Toodie found her independence and was becoming her own person. She has already made new friends, formed a special bond with the teacher, and brought home a dozen beautiful pieces of artwork to hang on the fridge. I love seeing how happy she is when I pick her up each day and hearing “I Love Kindergarten” assures me that I spent the last three months worrying for absolutely nothing!
The Fall blend is exactly what I need to help me adjust to back to school season. I prefer to brew my own coffee at home because it’s fresh and convenient. I can enjoy hot or iced depending on my mood and I can drink as many cups as I want without waiting in a long line! It makes me want to get into my pajamas and crawl under a big fluffy blanket! The Starbucks Fall Blend is my favorite way to savor the transition between seasons. Since school started two weeks ago I have been eagerly waiting for the fuzzy feelings that accompany Fall. We may not have the most noticeable season changes here in Florida but I can always tell when it is getting close by the menu change at Starbucks. In addition to this delicious blend I am also a fan of the popular Pumpkin Spiced Latte and moist Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffins you can get this time of year. This blend pairs perfectly with hearty comfort foods and desserts of the season containing the same harvest flavors. That muffin is divine but don’t take my word for it, go out and get one while you can!
