This post was created in partnership with Harvest Snaps. I have been compensated for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
It’s back to school time and in the midst of the chaos we can easily get caught up in the repetitive preparation of packing the same old snacks and lunches. I don’t know about your children but mine has made it clear that she isn’t bursting at the seams in excitement when she finds a turkey sandwich in her lunchbox. Not to mention she has stopped eating the peanut butter pretzels and cheese cubes I have bored her with all Summer. Let’s face it, the same lunches can get a bit boring and bland day after day. It’s time to bring adventure, anticipation, flavor, and surprise to the lunchbox with Harvest Snaps!
Harvest Snaps are not your traditional snack and at first you may not think they would be appealing to the younger crowd. This was my initial thought but Toodie and I tasted them together and I was surprised at how she reacted. Without even knowing these were a healthier snack option she raved about how good they were and even asked me to pack them in her lunch this week. These guilt-free green pea crisps are tasty and a great source of fiber for children and adults.
Harvest Snaps come in six different flavors- Black Pepper, Tomato Basil, Onion Thyme, Cesar, Wasabi Ranch, and Lightly Salted. The Lightly Salted is the most basic while Wasabi Ranch has a serious kick to it! I love spice so this flavor along with Cesar have become my two favorites. In addition to how they taste, I also really enjoyed the texture of the crisps. They are light, crunchy, and when you bite into them they become a little flaky. Compared to your typical potato chips these have far less fat and sodium while being gluten free.
As a parent I would prefer to pack Harvest Snaps for my daughter over the fattening greasy potato chips that you see everywhere. I think these crunchy crisps will satisfy her munchies at school while adding a little excitement to her lunchbox.
