Happy Earth Day! Today you can spread awareness and appreciation for the nature around us and the environment we live in. Every year on April 22nd we are encouraged to observe the beauty of the planet we live on and do our part in preserving life around us. Plant a tree, start a vegetable garden, take a nature walk, observe critters, or pick up litter throughout your neighborhood. No matter the weather, rain or shine, spend your time outdoors. Create your own companionship with nature. It’s also the perfect opportunity to explore and discover some of the wonderful brands that support our planet by selling natural, vegan, and organic products.
To celebrate Earth Day I am going to share five eco-friendly brands and companies that promote natural products all year round. From babies to beauty, these brands offer organic alternatives to support the green marketplace.
The Honest Company was founded by Jessica Alba in 2012. They are known for their eco-friendly diapers and natural line of bath, skincare, cleaning and organic nutritional supplement products. Being a mother herself, Jessica knows exactly what parents are looking for when it comes to safe products for their children. You don’t have to worry about any harsh chemicals or toxins. My favorite product is the shampoo & body wash because it smells fresh and is also tear-free! This is a brand I have grown to trust and love over the years.
Le Couvent Des Minimes is a French based brand that sells a wide variety of natural skin and body care products. There are hundreds of years behind this brand and it was also created by L’Occitane. They are known for their Smile Lip Balm and Loving Care Body Balm Lotion which are both nourishing and repairing. Their products are family friendly and can be used on the most sensitive of skin. They are all divided into 13 recipe categories from body sorbets to botanical fragrances. 
Lush Cosmetics has been one of my favorite brands since I discovered them while living in Colorado four years ago. At the time there was a store a few hours away from my home and since it was rather far I made my first purchase online. I was instantly hooked. They have so many unique products from bath bombs to freshly made face masks. I can’t live without their Ocean Salt Face & Body Scrub or Big Shampoo. Not only do they make their products by hand but they also stand true to being an organic brand. They use fresh fruits, vegetables, and natural ingredients. It doesn’t hurt that their stores smell incredibly amazing too!
Hastens is a luxury brand straight out of Sweden that has been around since 1852. They started out making beds but have now branched off into sleep accessories from sheets to travel pillows. As you can probably guess they are known for their checkered patterns. Their products are carefully crafted and made from all natural premium quality materials. For example, the Down Slipper Boots are filled with 75% white down and 25% sea bird feathers. If that’s not heaven then I don’t know what is!
The Body Shop is the home of the Satsuma Body Butter which happens to be my favorite scent of all time. Their products are truly made with love and are 100% vegetarian. They always have people, animals and the planet in mind when producing. Not only are they against animal testing but they also do SO much to help protect our planet. They are constantly looking for ways to support the community and change the way the consumer thinks. This is a company rich in values that is worth supporting.
