Breakfast recipes and snacks are beginning to trend on my blog this month! I’ve covered fun alternatives for the kids and even the parent on the go but what about a dish that the whole entire family will enjoy? I was provided with the opportunity to create a delicious and unique recipe using Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles. When I think of breakfast there are many mouth watering components that enter my mind. In our home it usually consists of toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, and a big glass of Orange juice to wash it all down. What if you could combine your favorite parts of Breakfast into one tasty meal? Using my own, I created “Breakfast Cups” using cheesy hash browns, eggs, and the oh-so convenient Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles. Since they are fully cooked, this recipe takes less time to make & gives you more time to enjoy!

Breakfast On The Go: Nature Valley Breakfast Biscuits #PlatefulCoOp #spon
Last week I touched on the importance of eating a wholesome breakfast & gave a few of my favorite examples on how I make it more exciting around here. While creating monkey pancakes and fruit parfaits only takes a few extra moments to prepare, time is of the essence in the morning. Sometimes a quick and easy alternative is needed to get me of out the door in a timely fashion. These days I find myself grabbing for a granola bar or fresh fruit on the way out. Typically I eat my choice in the car or at work. I have never been a huge breakfast eater but as I have gotten older I notice that it sure is hard to function without it. As long as I have something to fill me up and give me energy I am good to go until lunch time. You can always find a granola, cereal, or some type of breakfast bar in my purse for convenience.

Five Funny + Favorite Moments Of The Week
One word: BOOGERS. First of all why do kids enjoy picking their noses so much? I’ve come to the conclusion that it could only be one of two main reasons. It’s either the satisfaction of picking a hidden treasure that they have spent all day working to dig up or it’s the sudden rush they receive when they wipe that excavated jewel on the furniture when no one is looking. The other day I was getting ready to wash my sheets and I noticed that on the wall above my bed was a collection of dried boogies, almost formed into a shape of some sort but I couldn’t quite make it out. Now I knew who they belonged to but I wasn’t sure why the wall had become a giant Kleenex. I didn’t know whether to laugh or get a chizzle. My little booger monster was forced to reveal all of her “collection” spots around the house and help mommy remove them asap!

Mommy โก Daughter Date: The Young At Art Museum #YoungAtArt
It’s been over a year since our first visit to the Young At Art Museum here in South Florida. Last week was intense stressful around here. Between working, preparing for a birthday party, and Valentine school festivities I was extremely exhausted by the time Sunday arrived. I was more than ready to relax and unwind a bit since I was off of work Monday & Tuesday. Typically when I am off during the week I take advantage of having free time to myself because Toodie is in school until the afternoon and it gives me a chance to get things done without any distractions. Since I was able to get some rest and run a few errands yesterday I thought it would be nice to spend a day at the museum before heading back to reality on Wednesday. Toodie has been asking me to take her to visit the Young At Art Museum again for a while now & this seemed to be the perfect time to do so. Yes, I let her play hooky from school today.. shhhhh!

Protecting What You Love and Care About With Master Lock #MasterLockProtects
When I was a little girl (many moons ago) my mother always encouraged me to participate in any extra curricular actitivites that would pave the road to my future in a positive manner. One of these was being a Girl Scout. I never thought I would say this but I am proud to share that I was a Girl Scout for 12 years. I know, that’s a long time and now that I am older it seems even longer. I started as a Brownie at seven years old and ended my journey in high school with the highest achievement possible, the Gold Award. If there was one thing I took away from being a Girl Scout it had to be the ability to help people, near and far, no matter how young I was. I learned how to make a difference through volunteering, making care packages for our troops, donating stuffed animals to the children’s hospital, and learning valuable lessons with the help of organizations such as the American Red Cross.

Fun Breakfast Time Twists With Target! #PlateFullCoOp #spon
We all know that Breakfast is of the utmost importance in the morning, not only for children but adults too. Everyone needs energy and starting your day with a wholesome meal will keep you focused until lunch time. Even though it may be the most important meal of the day, it’s not always so simple. In our home it can be hectic, rushed, and repetitive during the week. Most parents will agree. There are never enough hours during the day, especially in between getting the children dressed and making sure their lunches are packed before school. With our morning routine in fast motion I sometimes lack creativity when it’s time for Breakfast. Have you every asked yourself what can be done to make it more exciting and less monotonous? I sure have.
