I love Valentine’s Day for many reasons. One of them being the endless supply of PEEPS® you can find in stores. PEEPS® are low in calories, gluten-free and come in a variety of flavors which leaves me feeling less guilty when I pile them into my shopping cart during the holidays. My love for these marshmallow treats started long ago when my mom used to put them in my Easter basket and Christmas stocking. She helped mold my “PEEPSONALITY®” which I am now passing on to Toodie, my own peepster.


Peeps & Company never disappoint when it comes to the holidays and they were kind enough to send me a big box full of all of their Valentine themed goodies! The Valentine assortment is an adorable seasonal collection that includes hearts, bears, and chocolate dipped marshmallows. Each year I stock up on at least one of each but this was my first experience with the Chocolate Mousse Bears. They were just as good as I expected. It’s always fun to try a new flavor and I get excited when I see what Peeps & Company has come up with.

I make sure that I always have a pack of PEEPS® on hand in the freezer for when my sweet tooth starts acting up. This keeps them fresh for longer and gives them a delicious chewy texture. Do you like yours cold too? There is no doubt that they are a treat that can be eaten in more ways than one. While they are yummy right out of the package I also enjoy mine in hot cocoa, melted on top of brownies, and on top of a s’more! After taste testing the Valentine collection Toodie & I both agreed that the chocolate covered marshmallow hearts are our favorite. The Vanilla Crème came in close second. Being realistic I came to the conclusion that I could never pick just one favorite!

    OMG I love Peeps. Remember back in the day when they only came out at Easter? I love that Peeps are out for every holiday now because they are one of my favorites!!

    I love that these are so cute looking and that we have a variety of colors for holidays other than Easter! I love Peeps. I'm hoping my kiddo loves them too (when I finally let him try them.)

    I like them a little dried out - like they sat on the counter overnight with the package open. Weird.

    We love peeps! It's the one "candy" my hubby actually wants in his Easter basket. He'll down them so fast! I made a fun recipe with peeps for Halloween where we baked them as smores, it turned out great!

    I remember when Peeps were only available at Easter! I'm not sure if I like them being available for the different holiday's sometimes what they come up with is good and sometimes it's not lol

    Peeps are some of the most overprocessed, sugary junk foods available on the market... but they are SO GOOD. I love the purple and white bunnies the best. I eat the ears off first!

    I've never been a fan of Peeps because they seem too sugary yet bland to me. Someone else mentioned dipping in them in chocolate though -- I think that would be a great idea!

    we like to eat them stale so we open them and let them sit for a few days but during the summer the best thing is to make smores with them over the campfire take a graham cracker a peep and a chocolate bar make a sandwhich and melt yummy!

    Best way to enjoy a peep is right out of the package - just pop it in your mouth and enjoy!

    I open the box & let them sit for a day or two, to harden up just a little. And I always eat the little beak first, then the head. (On the bunnies, gotta eat the ears 1st)! i love the purple ones!

    I really just love them plain, and out of a freshly opened package. my mom likes to freeze them, or leave them open for a few days to get a bit hardened on the outside!
