Each Christmas I long for the blissful moment in which I can put all of the wrapping paper away, pack the tree neatly with presents, sit back and enjoy the season before it’s over. This year I was able to do it sooner than expected with a warm cup of Starbucks Holiday Blend in hand. If you know anything about me out of the blog realm, I am a serious Starbucks addict. While I love visiting the Starbucks around the corner, most of the time I prefer to brew at home for convenience. Also, the wonderful smell that lingers through my home while brewing a fresh bag of my favorite blend is pure bliss.
The Starbucks Holiday Blend is a medium roast that delivers a balance of herbal and maple notes. Sugar & spice is what first comes to mind. It has an exceptionally smooth flavor which is perfect for someone like me who who isn’t a fan of strong. It has a hint of sweetness and spice but neither is overpowering. On Christmas Eve I shared a cup of coffee with my family while we reminisced past Christmas memories & appreciated our not so “traditional” tree decorations this year. Toodie was busy counting each present that had her name on it and the dogs were waiting for me to invite them up on the couch for cuddles. For me, one of my favorite things to do this time of year is just sit in my living room and savor the moment with those that matter most. If it were up to me it could be Christmas all year around. I will always associate the Holiday Blend with these warm, fuzzy, and special moments.
Christmas may be over but it is never too late to share joy and enjoy a cup of Starbucks with your family and friends. Whether you have guests visiting this season or you are hosting a New Year’s get together, a fresh pot of coffee is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. Who says you can’t ring in the new year with a cup of coffee instead of champagne? I wouldn’t mind that myself..
